Gilbert Week: Day 5

We all create.  Some of us are more overt about it--writing, taking photos, and sewing.  Many of us don't feel creative at all, and maybe we aren't providing ourselves enough outlets, but we remain creative whether we like it or not.  As we live and make decisions and make connections, we are creating life.  This is what the quote at the top of my blog is all about.  The creation of the world wasn't a one-time event.  Our world is always changing and evolving.  And we get to take part in the ongoing creation of the world.  How exciting is that?

In this video, Elizabeth Gilbert addresses an audience of writers.  She explores what it means to create and to be inspired.  It's a very moving talk--about 20 minutes long, but worth the watch!
